Absolutely! K Road has a world of good eats — from tacos to tofu — plus bars and cafés open throughout the night. Most venues serve alcohol.
-
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside venues, but there’s plenty of choice nearby.
-
With 42 bands on offer, unfortunately there will always be clashes. You must pick a path!
-
Phones are fine, but please respect artists and other fans — no professional photography equipment, no flash, no filming entire sets.
-
Public transport is your friend — the InnerLink bus stops right nearby, and there’s limited paid parking in nearby streets. Better yet, walk, bus, Uber, or rideshare — it’s the easiest way to keep the vibe flowing.
-
Everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour won’t be tolerated at any venue.
If you need support, look for our Red Frogs team or talk to venue & festival staff — they’re there to help. -
Find a staff member, volunteer, or security — we’ll take care of it right away.
-
Yes — K Road and the central city have plenty of hotels and motels, from budget to boujee. Our friends at Abstract Hotel offer great rates, and are literally less than 100 metres from the festival main stage.
-
We’re doing our best to make the festival as low-impact as possible — think recyclable cans, compostable cutlery, reduced waste and using the Clean Event team who sorts waste between recyclable, compostable and general waste at the conclusion of the event. Please help us by binning things right and refilling water bottles.
-
The festival is proudly presented by the Banished Music team. An independent local promoter with love from and for Auckland’s creative community.
