  • Tickets are available exclusively through Banished Music and Moshtix. Please avoid buying from third-party resellers — we can’t guarantee their tickets are valid.

  • The Others Way takes over 10 venues/ stages across Karangahape Road, Auckland for one glorious night of music, discovery, and community on November 29th, 2025.

  • Think of it as a musical treasure hunt — one wristband gets you access to a bunch of venues up and down K Road, each hosting a stacked lineup of local and international acts.

  • Playing times and stage splits will be announced in mid-November

  • The Others Way runs from 5pm - 1:30am with various venues opening at differing times based on the schedule. Keep an eye out for timings at each venue from mid-November

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless the festival is cancelled. If you can’t make it, you can safely resell your ticket via Moshtix’s resale system.

  • Yes! For most venues, this is an R18 event, and all venues will require valid photo ID for entry (driver’s licence, passport, or HANZ 18+ card).

  • Absolutely. Once you’ve swapped your ticket for a wristband, you can move freely between venues throughout the night.

  • The All Ages ticket allows access to two stages:
    1. The Flying Out Basement All Ages Stage
    2. Pitt Street Methodist Church
    There will be 8 acts programmed across these two venues.
    The artists programmed for these stages are Crying Ivy, Capricore, Vida, Dropper, Lipstick Cherry, Tiny Ruins (Duo), Shannon Lay & Holly Arrowsmith

    Ticketholders under the age of 15 on November 29, 2025 must be accompanied with a parent or legal guardian.

    All Ages tickets are exclusively for attendees under the age of 18 on November 29th, 2025.

  • You’ll swap your ticket for a wristband at the Festival HQ (location announced closer to the day). Bring your ticket and ID.

  • Expect your K Road favourites like Whammy, Double Whammy, Public Bar, Neck of the Woods, Galatos, Pitt Street Methodist Church, The Studio, A Space (back bar of Acho’s), Flying Out All Ages Stage, and our big main stage on K Road just near the rainbow crossing

  • Totally. All venues are within a few minutes’ walk of each other — no buses, no stress.

  • We want everyone to enjoy The Others Way. Venue accessibility can vary — we’ll post detailed accessibility info before the festival. If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance.

  • Absolutely! K Road has a world of good eats — from tacos to tofu — plus bars and cafés open throughout the night. Most venues serve alcohol.

  • No outside food or drinks are allowed inside venues, but there’s plenty of choice nearby.

  • With 43 bands on offer, unfortunately there will always be clashes. We’ll release the full timetable in mid-November so you can plan your night.

  • Phones are fine, but please respect artists and other fans — no professional photography equipment, no flash, no filming entire sets.

  • Public transport is your friend — the InnerLink bus stops right nearby, and there’s limited paid parking in nearby streets. Better yet, walk, bus, Uber, or rideshare — it’s the easiest way to keep the vibe flowing.

  • Everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour won’t be tolerated at any venue.
    If you need support, look for our Red Frogs team or talk to venue & festival staff — they’re there to help.

  • Find a staff member, volunteer, or security — we’ll take care of it right away.

  • Yes — K Road and the central city have plenty of hotels and motels, from budget to boujee. Our friends at Abstract Hotel offer great rates, and are literally less than 100 metres from the festival main stage.

  • We’re doing our best to make the festival as low-impact as possible — think recyclable cans, compostable cutlery, reduced waste and using the Clean Event team who sorts waste between recyclable, compostable and general waste at the conclusion of the event. Please help us by binning things right and refilling water bottles.

  • The festival is proudly presented by the Banished Music team. An independent local promoter with love from and for Auckland’s creative community.
