DROPPER
DROPPER
Dropper are a Pōneke-based four-piece whose sound combines intuitive songwriting sensibilities with wall-of-sound, guitar-driven music, similar to Hüsker Dü, JPS Experience, and Gleemer. Blending noise and melody, Dropper will appeal to fans of dynamic, song-centred, high-energy indie rock. Jude Savage's song writing is emotionally charged and smart - often compared to Bob Mould’s work with Hüsker Dü or Lou Barlow's early Sebadoh. They’ve already opened for There’s A Tuesday, shame (UK), Office Dog, and Twine (AUS), Lemonheads (USA) and performed at JunkFest with one recent review describing them as a band with "a high energy stage performance punctuated by flawless musicianship and songwriting skills that seems beyond the years...Honestly, it’s hard to overstate how impressed I was with Dropper and am eagerly awaiting my next chance to see them live.”
Dropper is in the process of recording a full-length album to be released later in 2025.
